Can someone please tell me how to change the default proof setup to monitor RGB. That’a all I need to know. My previous post got me basically a lot of "why do you want to do that ?" type replies. Please. Can someone please tell me how to change the default proof setup to monitor RGB. Thanks.

Hi Dave.

I am sorry you did not like my previous replies, I was only trying to help.

If you must do it then it is simple to do, but I still can’t understand why you would want to do this.

Before you open an image on PS go to "View" > "Proof Setup" and click on Monitor RGB and a tick will appear alongside it.

Open your picture in PS go to "View" and click on "Proof Colours".

There is no actual "Default" for Proof. You may need to check that the tick is still against "Monitor RGB" when you next open PS.
