I have previously installed my Photoshop Version 5.5 on two other computers using Windows 98. I have just purchased a new computer running Windows XP. When installing PS it states that my Registration Number is not a valid PS 5.5 registration number. Very annoying. I would think an Adove representative may need to answer this one.

Any takers ?

Thanks

Mike

I would suggest Adobe customer service. They should get to the answer pretty quickly. The forum here is mainly for the technical aspects of using Photoshop.

Thank you both…. but I can’t seem to get a response from them because of the really old version fo the software. Using a modem too, so navigating around the site is really slow.

Any URLs to offer ?

Call Adobe Customer Support at 1-800-492-3623. They’ll help you with a registration # problem. What they won’t help with is an installation or operational problem with such an old version. There’s nothing we can do here for stuff regarding your registration.

My guess is that you’re not entering the last three numbers after the hypen in the serial number.
