Good morning all,

I am trying to change the colour of a gif file. I don’t know if it’s even possible! It’s a plain black outline image, and instead of being white, I would like to change the colour.

If you want to see the gif I’m referring to, just go here: <http://www.americanapparelstore.com/4305.html> and click on Garment Specs.

Thanks for any help,
Mary

First, change Image>Mode to RGB color. Now you can manipulate the previously indexed colored gif. When you are done, use Save for Web to save it back to a GIF.

Seems a lot easier to edit the palette so that the currently black palette entry is changed to the desired color.
