I’m tired of all my palettes floating on top of the main window. When I move the main window, the palettes remain in the same place. How can I make them stay with the main interface? TIA,

Ron

Not sure about your set up, but I use multiple monitors and have palette position issues also.

Set up your palettes the way u like, then under the Window menu, select "Workspace/Save Workspace…

this might help…

Why don’t you just resize the PS window inside the edges of the palettes. Then you have the entire PS window to work in and the palettes are not in the way. Makes the PS window a bit smaller, but you aren’t wasting all your time moving palettes out of the way.

Dock your palettes to the palette well. At the top right corner of your screen is the palette well. Dragging the palettes and dropping them over the palette well will dock them. You can also click on the tiny triangle of each palette and select "dock to Palette Well.

The palette well is only visible if your screen resolution is higher than 800 x 600. Using the palette well will free up much valuable screen "real estate!"
