Should I get Photoshop cs?

I have recently purchased PhotoShop Elements 3. Got it mainly to touch up my digital photos.

Now,I’m starting to use more of the filters and playing around with layers. Have been learning more by reading this newsgroup and photo magazines, been getting more helpful info.

Adobe sends me out this special deal to get the fully loaded Photoshop CS for $299. I have till Feb 15 to make up my mind to get Photoshop.

Going from elements to photoshop, would be very nice.

Question: Is this a good deal?

For the things you said you have been using there are few if any worth while changes in Photoshop CS over Elements 3. With a new version of Photoshop due in the next 6 to 8 months I would make do with Elements 3 and then upgrade when the new version comes out.

Disagree. At that price the cost of the offer plus upgrade would still be quite a bit less than any price he’ll get when the latest version comes out. You can be sure they won’t be offering that price then.
