I am searching for a .jpeg of the Microsoft Windows XP curser with hourglass.

The one you see when you have to wait for the computer.

If you can help find one please email

Thanks!

Next time you see one on your monitor hit the PRT Scr key (next to F12) Create a new document in PS, keep the proposed size, and CTRL+V. Voila, there is your hourglass in your new image, Just cut it out

I’m afraid the built-in screen capture in Windows doesn’t record the cursor. Perhaps a third-party utility…

Dang, you’re right.
Solution: Explore the Windows/ Cursor folder from Irfanview. Chose the cursor and save it as JPG

I saved a screen shot of the Intellimouse Pointers page. Two such icons there; saved in JPG, ready for the operation, Doctor.

I believe the Corel Suite utility, Capture can be set to record it or not, as you want.

OTOH, it wouldn’t be that difficult to draw in Illy and you’d have a nice vector image which is infinitely resizeable.

obviously:

start > control panel > mouse > pointers [tab] and take a screenshot of whatever cursor you want. They’re all listed there.
