When printing – format gets enlarged – PS 6,0

Hi all, I have been troubled with this from the start, when printing a page which is set up to be exactly A4 – 209mm x 297mm – it is enlarged and parts of the layhout is cut from the print – can be seen on the print preview. To get the entire layout onto A4 I have to shrink to 96%, but then I get white edges, 97% and some of the layout on the short sides are missing. I use an Epson 1290 with no edges selected (printing on the entire sheet)
Any suggestions apart from blaming Epson?

Not all Epson papers support borderless printing. The 1290 drivers will not print borderless on the unsupported types and/or sizes. So, that is one reason for your problems.

Another is that it may not be possible to print and exact size.

Arfinn,

I believe that is a known problem with the Epson driver when printing borderless, and detailed in the Epson readme file
