brightness/contrast glitch

when i attempt to adjust the brightness of an image in ps7 my color picker tool appears instead of the brightness/contrast slider… is this a glitch? any suggestions?

Oh ok – I see what happened.

I switched to a lower screen resolution while I was working on a picture to see what it would be like on a smaller screen. That’s when the problem appeared. Switching back worked.

WOW! I’ve had this glitch for some time now. I called Adobe and we spent over an hour troubleshooting this problem. Well, I changed computers and the problem went away. Then, all of a sudden, it reappeared on the new machine. Changing resolutions from 1024X768 to 800X600 and then back to higher res. resolved the problem.
