Hey all-
::: the set up:
I use a Viewsonic G790 (17" CRT) hooked up to a G4 laptop (OS X.3.7). I’ve downloaded & installed the Viewsonic drivers, and calibrated it, via ColorSync, and left the LCD at it’s default ( "Color LCD" ) setting.
::: the situation:
Is there a way In PSCS, to get consistant color on both the CRT & the laptop’s LCD?
for example: with a file open, filled with PMS 300 (blue) on the CRT, then I drag
it over to the LCD screen, increase magnifgication, then drag it back over to the
CRT, it is now considerably darker, equivalent to PMS Blue 072. The file isnt changed, just the on-screen colors.
Should I set the LCD to use the same profile as the CRT? or vice versa?
And if you know the answer to this, do you think this problem will be eliminated by
using an LCD Monitor (like Eizo)?
TIA
