I have a list of 100’s of names (excel spreadsheet) that I would like to
a) import into photoshop
b) have the names form the number "5"

What is the best way to import the names? (cut and paste?) How can I fill the "5" with the names so that they fill in the entire number in a smooth symetrical pattern.

In other words a large number "5" will be filled with these hundreds of names.

Make a new file the size you need and type your number and exit editing. Control click the layer you just created, that will select it. Make a new layer and turn off the text layer so you can see what your doing. Go to the paths palette and click on "make work path from selection" at the botttom. Now move the text cursor inside the number outlined path and click. Now you can paste your names.
