I am trying to import an image from my scanner into Adobe Photoshop 6 using the ‘import’, ‘scanner’ options. I select the relevant option for a colour scanned image but all I get is a black / grey image. Are there any controls I can change so that I can actually see my image? or is my scanner broke? I have also tried the ‘black & white’ and ‘grayscale’ options…to no avail.

I have used this software before to do the same process without any problems but for some reason it’s just started to go pear shaped!!!

Thanks

Mark

The answer is likely in the scanner software itself rather than Photoshop. Check all the options in whatever scanner interface you have. Usually there’s a dropdown menu that lets you choose between B&W, color, grayscale, etc. If there’s an "Advanced" button, click that.
