The script one that comes with CS, "Export layers to Files" , does not include PNG.
– does anyone know the file location and name I can modify to add PNG to this script?

OR

Anyone know of a script to "Export layers to Files" using PNG?

It seems I’m the only one that has ever wanted to do this ??? After two posts no one ever gives me any useful info.

Fireworks can do that or you can batch convert to PNG.

I believe that’s built into CS, and it is available as a ready-made script for PS7. No need to go outside PS or CS.

I may be wrong. My setup is way too customized to be normal and at the moment, here at home I only have Version 6.01.

In any event, Warren Sarle has a copy of Larry B. Ligon’s javascript that does what you want. You may have to wait until Warren gets to work tomorrow. I can’t find it on adobe’s website. If you have no luck by tomorrow afternoon, I’ll look for my script at work.

My short-term favorite is Perryman’s. See it in the link above.

I also have the commercial layer stripper mentioned in the post, but cannot recommend it. In any event, it is here:

Hope this helps.

If anyone can find Larry’s script I’d really be thankful!
