I e-mailed a picture I took with my digital camera of my leg wound to my doctor, and he e-mailed me back, asking me to send him a ‘profile’ picture (his words) next time instead so that he could better see the wound. He said he could not tell much from my 2D picture. I guess he wants a 3D picture. How would I do that?

Thanks

"In profile" – as an outline. So that any bumps etc. can be seen in, errr… profile.

Does he mean side-view? I was thinking 3D – I’m probably wrong there.

I would think he wants a side view but why not e-mail the doctor back and ask him? Think of mug shots; front view and profile view.

No 3d picture required. He wants a side view ("lateral view" is the technical term) that will match up with other medical images or diagrams that he has, or may have in the future.

Wishing you the best of results.

Thanks guys. I figured for myself after thinking about it that he wanted that. Dumb me.
