This is a public apology from myself for bringing this issue up. I feel frustrated that my machine takes almost a minute to load and there are loads of other issues with PSCS performance which literally have me screaming at my computer which worked very well before I installed PSCS and was like lightening but I am sorry for the wording of my previous post which was I realise a bit harsh and unwarranted due to my frustrations.

To all the Adobe team, who BTW on the face of things do genuinely produce excellent and innovative software, I humbly say I am sorry for the outburst.

How else then can this issue be resolved?

Regards

Mark

Mark,

I have re-named your original post to "AutoF/X Photographic edges". That’s a far better solution than removal of the Topic, and your apology is very welcome. Thank you.

Mark,

Move the PGE_PlugIn.8bf and the PGE folder one level higher up (out of the plug-ins folder).

Photoshop won’t scan the PGE folder any more as it’s no longer in the Plug-ins folder but you will still be able to access the filter.

Ronald,

Tried your fix but now the only way to access AutoF/x is through the Start Menu?

Mark,

Doesn’t the filter show up anymore? If so I am not sure why as it works on my system. Where did you put the PGE_PlugIn.8bf file and the PGE folder?

Ron,

I put the PGE-Plugin8bf inside its own folder and the PGE extension. maybe I will try to drag and drop them individually.

Will let you know!
