Hello,

A basic question, although cropping an image on importing is straight forward.
I can’t seem to crop it once its imported into another project and sitting on its layer – without cropping the whole document.

It must be too easy!!!

Steve,

CROP crops the canvas. You need to select the area you wish to preserve, invert the selection and delete (or you could use a layer mask for non-destructive ‘cropping’)
