Layer conversion from cs to 7.1

renamed layer sets in a file in photoshop version cs and when opened in version 7, the layers are corrupted. the layer sets simply merge and have nothing beneath them. has anyone experienced this? if so, how did you deal with this issue?

You simply don’t put sub-layer sets, as this function does nt exist in 7.01 you also avoid the new Photo adjustment layers, blending modes, 16bit layers, type on a path, etc…

i’m speaking only of main sets which do exist in both versions. they are the ones getting corrupted. thank you
