As I said the other day, the rotation property of the
art pen is not recognized in Photoshop CS4. It is recognized in CS3.

Today I discovered a packet of related bugs in Illustrator. In a number of tools, the modifier keys do not work or are erratic. One has to remove the wacom pen and mouse from the tablet and use a conventional mouse to regain the functionality. From the forums I believe this bug was in CS3 as well as CS4. Apparently Wacom and Adobe point the finger at each other, and neither steps up to fix it.

This is, to put it mildly, very disappointing.

Thank you for the update.
I have not noticed a problem in CS2 AI or PS but I do occasionally have to stop and restart the service when working in Maya if I am using the sculpt tool with geometry that has a lot of history or if I fail to keep my polygons clean. I have a dos batch file I launch with a conventional mouse – I keep the shortcut on a task bar because it can be impossible to dig for it when things go bad.

It has these two commands:

net stop tabletservicewacom
net start tabletservicewacom

I understand your disappointment, I hope it will ultimately be worth the struggle – it has been for me.

Good luck
