I am testing CS as compared to our current PS 6.0.
Machine: Dual XEON, Win2K, and 1G RAM.
We process (convert to jpg’s for another use) about 2500 PDF’s a week and that number is going to increase over the next couple of months.
For the test:
I used the same 25 PDF’s each time (1.5 – 8MB in size) version 6 did the job three times and it took approx. 16 and 1/4 minutes each time, CS did the same job three times in approx. 5 and 3/4 minutes each time.
Does Adobe have any charts or numbers that I could use to back up my test that you know of?
Is there something wrong with the version 6.0 installation that I could correct?
Thanks
