When I start Photoshop 7.0.1, my preferences are to check Adobe Online weekly for updates. In the past things worked fine. Now, however, when I do a manual check for updates, or if it’s been over a week and Photoshop checks for updates, I get the following error:
"File could not be downloaded. <http://cgi…tform=0dll> ver=2.8.3.3AOMV=2.8.3.3 There was a problem connecting to Adobe Online. Please check your network settings in the internet control panel. 21:-139"
What does all this mean? The only change I’ve made was to add Zone Alarm Pro, but I’ve given Photoshop all the rights to access the internet, and when I disable Zone Alarm, I still get the same error.
