Several days ago my computer crashed. Well I was able to salvage the Monitor profile. It is embeded into the windows directory. I copied the file but I have no idea how to get it back into Photoshop. The profile does not show up anywhere in Photoshop now and I need to copy it back somewhere to make it work again.
Please Help
David

Hi David,

Open the Adobe Gamma Control Panel applet. If not in your Control Panel (it isn’t in Windows XP, I don’t know why), you can run it by opening C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Calibration\Adobe Gamma.cpl. Once open, select the Control Panel option and then in the Load window, browse to your monitor profile. Without changing any settings, OK the dialog to close the window. That should establish your monitor profile to be loaded by Adobe Gamma.

Regards,

Daryl
