I’m pretty new to making web pages w/CS and I’m sure I’m doing something wrong. My .psd looks good to me but…. by the time it’s saved as an optimized .html from IR it looks fuzzy and the colors are – ugh! (The original in PS
looks just fine)

I made my first web page in PS, saved it as optimized .html in IR (taking the defaults) and it looks – OK – I think.
www.northcoastcomputerservices.com

Buoyed and happy with this attempt above I tried another site – this time creating text and a .jpg in PS before exporting from IR as optimized .html. It looks
awful. Click on ‘Privacy policy’ at bottom of above web.

Not only does it look awful in FrontPage but also when viewed directly in IE. The .jpg is an accurate picture of the
optimized export from IR.??

I don’t quite get it yet. Why does my second site look so bad and the first looks OK?

What changed was that I laid out the Text and the owls.jpg in another program (ok,
ok it was FrontPage) for the North Coast Computer page.
For the other page (click the privacy link on nccs page above), I laid out the Text and Graphic(s) in PS.

Should I not be typing the Text or Placing the .jpg’s in PS? Or, Do I need to find out more about this ‘optimizing’ feature in IR?

Thanks for any help you can offer…..
