I installed a AGFA SNAPSCN 1212U USB scanner with its SCANWISE software and scanned some photos. But did NOT embed the colour profile.
Now I no longer have the scanner, but what to colour manage them by ASSIGNing a profile in photoshop.
But there are several AGFA related entries in the ASSIGN profile selection list :
Agfa : SnapScan 1212U :Agfa paper : Rx
Agfa : SnapScan 1212U_2 :Agfa paper : Rx
Agfa : VirtualMonitor
Agfa : VirtualMonitor22
And I dont know which one to assign.
Since this is a popular model of scanner, I hope someone here has the same one too. Can someone tell me which is the correct profile (24-bit color scan) to assign. You can find out by scanning a colour photo and choosing the EMBED PROFILE option in the SAVE FILE dialog and then Opening the photo in Photoshop to view the name of the Colour profile that is assigned.
And also, What are the OTHER Agfa related profiles ? (Why to scanner ones, that is Agfa paper, What is RX ?, What is VirtualMonitor)
