Hello, I have searched for this question, but havn’t found an answer. Two ways to change the size of an image- Image size under the image tab, or transform & scale under the edit tab.

Does scale degrade the image at all?
Is it better to use image size?

Thanks

Yes. Scaling degrades images.

It is always best to work at final size, if your system has the horsepower to handle it.

To clarify what Phosphor is saying: both methods will degrade the image. Neither will provide better scaling than the other.
