I would like to tweak the "picture package" that comes with photoshop 7. Does anyone know exactly what tools I need to this with.

Are there any examples of creating this automations on the web that anyone knows of.

Try going to Help, Photoshop Help, when the Help Screen comes up select Search, type in Picture Package and press the enter key.
