Hi everyone,

I’ve got about 7 pictures Im desperately trying to save – apparently the problem came from the memory storage card itself – for whatever reason, its left like hundreds of vertical lines over the photo, not unlike a faint ‘barcode’ – but its the entire pic, hundreds of them – any assistance with best steps to remove would be very, very much appeciated

Do you have an example? it would be good to see exactly what you mean.

Hi nlsm, you can send it to me too if you wish, and I will see if there is anything I can do to help fix it for you. From the way you described the images, it sounds a little doubtful I hate to say.

Looking at the image now.. it does look doubtful i’m afraid. I’m assuming you have checked for some removal plugins? as this could be your best best.
Otherwise I can only suggest a smart blur and a resize (it looks a little better after!)
Will keep trying though.
