Save my sanity….

I’ve just loaded PshopCS and was messing around with stroking an open path. When I tried stroking the path with a "basic brush" selected, all that would appear were circular "dots" at the control points. The brush would not sweep along the path to make a continuous line. If I select one of the other brushes it works flawlessly. Am I doing something wrong? Also, even thought I CTRL click to make an open path the thumbnail always shows up as a closed path. In Pshop6 (my previous version) the thumbnail would show open paths. Again, am I missing something?

Thanks in advance,

The "basic brushes" set has spacing turned off.

What you see is normal behavior for brushes with spacing turned off.
