Font substitution occuring in PS 5.5

I recently installed PS7 on my win98 pc but I’m still using 5.5 while I’m learning to navigate v.7. Now I’m getting font substitutions in 5.5 but when I open the same file in v.7 the fonts are all there. Is there some way to fix the font substitution problem in 5.5? I don’t like 7 so far and I may continue to use 5.5 for some of my work, but I want to keep the option of using 7. Is this a known problem with running both versions on the same machine?

Because PS7 was installed AFTER v5.5, any NEW fonts installed won’t be recognised by v5.5 and so you’ll have to update work done in v5.5. Save the work done in v7 after it asks for the update and it’ll open in both.
