either clear some space on the drive where you have ps scratch set to (or all drives if you’ve forgotten) or reset the prefrences per the faq:

Mathias Vejerslev "How to delete/reset Photoshop preferences" 2/11/03 1:04pm </cgi-bin/webx?50>

that’ll set the scratch disk to "Startup", that is, whatever drive PS is installed on. you’ll need to make sure you have enough free space on that drive to start.

great. consider investing in another hard drive if things are that tight. massive, fast drives are available at a reasonable price now!

Dave,

installed on<<

Not so. ‘Startup’ refers to the System startup drive %system% (which for most folks will be c:\)
