How to do the "blinds" effect from Pain Shop Pro ?

Hello – I haven’t been able to figure out how to do this in Photoshop yet. I think the effect is called "blinds" in PSP, but I’m not sure. Here’s an example of what it looks like (the effect on the red background): <http://ptw.greenless.com/header.jpg>

If anybody knows how to do this in Photoshop CS please let me know. thanks.

Easy way to do it is to download a little plugin here:
http://www.users.cloud9.net/~gparet/photoshop/
There is no ‘installer’ included. Just copy the included .8bs file to your plugins folder. This is a Selection plug-in, not a filter. It shows up in Photoshop as "Select/Other/Grid".
You can configure it to produce grids, boxes, TV scanlines, blinds…whatever you want. Great little timesaving do-dad!

is more commonly called called ‘scanlines’ or ‘tv scanlines’ not blinds…lotsa differnt ways to do it with differing results –
