When I try to use a filter it opens the new gallery tri panel layout but my tri panel window opens WAY too large for my screen and it won’t let me scroll over, minimize or otherwise get to the controls for the filters on the right panel. I’ve tried everything and asked everyone I know. HELP. Or I will trash CS and go back to 7.

Check that the resolution meets the CS requirement (1024×768). If it does, you should check to see if you’re running with large fonts in the driver itself (Display | settings | Advanced) or in Window’s Appearance (Display | Appearance).

Made changes as suggested to test and it made no difference in Photoshop. I’m thinking this is Photoshop problem and not a monitor setting problem….

I mis-typed a bit in my original post. I meant the DPI set to Large in the driver, not the fonts. Can you verify that your DPI is set to normal. My instructions above are for XP.

As to this being a Photoshop problem, it’s posible but we would likely have had feedback from users by now.

I got it now, I had to set the screen res to MAX and then the dpi to 120 in order to be able to READ anything on the screen and see the whole window in Photoshop. Thanks for all the help.
