I’m trying to correct the tone of some B&W iamges by adding a Curves Adjustment layer. When I click on the image to add a marker with the colour dropper, the points don’t get added to the Curve. A temporary small square marquee appears on the curve while I move around the image but no black dot when I click.

It was working yesterday but not today.

Any suggestions as to what I’m doing wrong or is it a Friday thing!!

Ctrl+Click on the desired area, and it should drop a point on the curve.

Yup…it’s one of those Friday things. On Fridays I press the Shift key….duh!

Thanks for the reminder Glen.
