Hi! I am having trouble making curved lines/shapes. PLEASE HELP! I need to make a brochure & I am Brand New to Photoshop. I have figured out how to draw curves with the pen but I cannot get that to do exactly what I want. I am trying to make a header area that curves down from the right hand corner about 1 inch & turns into a straight horizontal line. Under it, I want to make another curved section about 1/2 inch wide that is more of a wave.

The pen was not working for me because I could not get the lines right at all – I just ended up with junk & I do not know how to erase the parts of the lines that I do not want.

I would really appreciate any insight anyone may have on an easier way to do this! I have been struggling for days! Thank You SO Much!

[EDIT: It appears that the link has changed and now, the website is serving up errors]

I’ll reply back here when it’s fixed with the proper link.

Thank You so Much! That tutorial explained things much better than any other help place I have read!
I do have one more question about this though – I have made a line that curves down from the corner and goes to the end of the page. This is only a line, not a shape. I want to fill this header area with a color. How can I do that? Thanks!

Complete that curved line with 3 more straight lines that follow and define the top part of the page so that you have a closed shape. Then fill the enclosed shape area.
