Every time I try to open GIF files in Photoshop CS I now get an error, "Could not complete the request because it is not the right type of document".

This applies to all GIF’s, even ones I have previously edited in Photoshop and saved.

I have not done anything to my Photoshop (that I can think of).

Anyone with any ideas?

Rich

You’re missing the GIF file format plugin (and probably others).

Thanks Chris but it was working until recently – I wonder why the plugin has disappeared?

I don’t know – what did you (or someone using your computer) change?
