Hi all,
I want to create a .psd that will have the dimensions of a standard software box. Print it out, fold it at the creases and tape it over a software box. I know there’s a way in Photoshop, using the rulers to replicate the exact dimensions. I’m just not sure where to begin or if this is the best option.
Dimensions:
10" – Face of box
2" – Top flap of box
2" – Side of box

Create a 10" square document. Put whatever you want onto it. Increase the canvas size by 4" in both directions.

What’s the question, exactly?

Make document exact size of the whole box. Looks like you’ll need 12 x something, face is 10" tall, but don’t know how wide? Got a printer that will do size you need?

Turn rulers on, draw a line or use non printing guides at the "seams" for guides as placement of your design?
