My film scanner software allows me to select from a number of standard photo sizes eg 4crop wide4crop, L 2L, cabinet etc……The documentation does not define what these sizes are. Can anyone please tell me where to obtain definitions/dimensions of these terms.

I don’t crop to those sizes. I either crop to standard photo sizes avaliable or I make up
my own custom sizes. You can make a number of custom sizes with Epson scanners.
As a professional photographer, I use custom sizes when working towards slimline
competition prints where I want to have an image in a skinny size which I will then move
onto another background. So I have a lot of different custom sizes. Try making your own
and not worrying about those other sizes or use the photo sizes like 5"X7" or 8"X10".

Thanks, I wondered if that’s what these sizes represent but apparently not. The S/w will allow me to define my own and so will take this route. "Craig Flory" wrote in message
