Soon to start using digital camera – determined to use a good on-line image management system from the outset …would be glad of opinion on best – Photoshop Album or Paint Shop Pro Album.

Also any thoughts on best image editor for my needs (new digital camera owner). Thing is I have PSP7. Seems I cannot upgrade from 7 to 8…so wondering if Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 would be a better bet than PSP8.

Many thanks,

Pete

1.. Don’t buy any software whose version ends in 1.0. It’s not called "guinea pig" software by the engineers for nothing.

2. PS Album will probably be good when version 2 comes around.

3. As far as Elements v. PSP – if you know PSP and it does what you need then why change? However, if you want a good way to start learning what Photoshop can do then go to Elements. It really depends on whether you want to learn new software, and whether you think you might, at some time, want to go to a professional package rather than PSP.

Hehehehe… hear that, ShadowFlap? ShadowFlap buys his software and THINKS he’s a "Pro" because his software box told him so :-))
