Photoshop Browser works very very slow

When I use the browser on my Photoshop CS it works very very very slow and it makes the whole system work slow as well. Is there a solution to this problem?

The solution i use, is not to use it.

The straightforward solution is to set it up so it scans the root of your hard drives, including all the sub folders, and let it run all night long.

Some also disable the high quality previews…
