How do i add a border to a picture in photoshop 7? i cant figure it out!

Edit>Select all.

Edit>stroke.

The size in pixels will depend on the resolution.

Or set the background colour to what you want the border to be and make the canvas a bit bigger [2X the border thickness in each direction].

Did an earlier version do it well?
I don’t know any easy way, especially
if you want to keep the pic the same or
a standard size and want the border
to be the same size all the way around
without cropping. Let me/us know how
you used to do it and maybe there is
a way to do the same thing in PS 7.
