Hello everyone,

This is my first post in here and I hope someone is able to help : ) At my company I am tasked with creating images for our new Systems Management Server 2003 for software distribution and such. I have created a silent unattended package for Photoshop CS and tested it out and it installs fine but, the problems start when you start up Photoshop you receive this error "could not complete your request because of missing or invalid personalization information" and then the program crashes. I am at a loss here I did some research online and came up with pretty much nothing so I am asking here hoping that someone has had this problem before or has any ideas… I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks

That means that the installation didn’t work correctly and the serial number info is missing. It shouldn’t crash though – it should just exit. The crash means that something else is probably wrong on the system (corrupt file?).

am deploying photoshop 7 with netinstall but have problems if a standard user starts the program cause i´ve disabled
editing the registry. a messagebox appers telling "the registry has been disabled…"). do you have the same problem?

Thank you very, very much for the links the first one worked perfectly! I just had to copy over the registry setting from the image machine and add them to the script and no more errors. Thanks again everyone for helping me with this.
