hi
the problem im having is with adobe photoshop cs,i downloaded the trial a couple of days ago and the past couple of days ive been doing every tutorial, step by step guide, video training anythink i can find on the internet for learning photoshop. Its an amazing product and after using psp 8 its sooooo good, but the problem is this morning i had a new heatsink fan arrive for my amd athlon 2500+ mobile,i needed this heatsink fan so i could push my processor further and further,so after iinstalling it,upping the clock speed watching my benchies go up and up,i pushed the chip too far and my system wouldnt boot.
so i took out the cmos battery for 2 minutes just to make sure the bios reverted back to default settings, they did and i rebooted went into the bios put my settings back, except for one thing!THE DATE!!!!!!!!!so i went into windows not knowing what was going to happen, and BAM,windows say the date on the system is incorrect and tells me set it right.
so i was in windows and practically all my software for my 3d modelling course and all my other tools refused to work due to the time setting,so i then realised the time was completely wrong so i set it back but all my programs still refused to work,so i had to install them ALL again, hours later installed all the software again ta-da!done……thats what i thought after a night of modelling, rendering,i went into photoshop cs to edit my render and BOOM!trial version expired,i thought thats strange only installed it a few days ago,so i shut it down, restarted….no luck,so i thought must of been because of the system clock being reset,so I uninstalled photoshop cs trial, then reinstalled, half way thorugh the reinstallation BAM! a box pops up identical to the one that starts up when you start photoshop cs,and still says "trial version expired"so i get rid if that window, and wait for the installation to finish, thinking that would of sorted it,nope!so all of today ive been reinstalling and uninstalling the photoshop trial trying to get it to work, i reckon about 20 times ive uninstalled and reinstalled the trial photoshop cs,
you may be thinking this guy must be sad,but wouldnt you try reinstalling again and again hoping for it to get back on if you have course work for uni to hand in next week?

so im desperate for help!is there any way of reinstalling it?i really am desperate for help!why wont it let me reinstall it so i can have the remainder of my trial?can any adobe personnel help?plz plz!

my system is:
amd athlon 2500+ mobile
abit nf-7 nforce 2 motherboard
1024mb ddr ram (400mhz)
radeon 9800 pro
windows xp professional sp1

im so grateful for any help, thank you
dom

Your only hope to reinstall a tryout of Photoshop 8 is to reformat your hard drive, then reinstall.

Sorry. That clock mishap was recognised by the demo as a deliberate attempt to circumvent the expiration period.

If you need the software, you’ll either need to use another computer, format your harddrive or buy it.

Since you’re a student, you’re eligible for academic pricing which is far less expensive than the commercial package and is identical in functionality.
