Im real frustrated with Photoshop CS in Win XP Pro.
Two problems – re selecting text and doing multiple selections for a copy and paste movement.
I have a layer of existing text and I want to add an additional line of text to it – when I grab the text tool – all it wants to do is put in a New text box on a New layer – I just want to ADD to the text that is already there. Why cant I just select the text tool and go into the text box and drag select the text, put down my cursor – and just type the new text? What do I have to do?
Also, I have a DVD label im making – I have the first label made up and all I want to do is select the elements I have – and copy/paste them down onto the second label lower down in the template. I want to have two identical DVD labels on one sheet of paper. I had to choose EACH and EVERY element once – and drag down all 20 elements singly. Why cant I just drag across the elements – have them be selected – copy them and then just paste them somewhere else? Now what am I doing wrong?
Thanks
