I install Photoshop CS on desktop(2000) and my laptop(XP) — according to Adobe license agreement, I can do that.

CS runs fine on desktop. However, on laptop, when I choose "Curve…", CS locks up — it switches to color picker tool and doesn’t allow me to do anything, including close photoshop! I have to kill the photoshop process from Task Manager. Then I uninstall/reinstall CS, it’s still the same.

Does anyone have similiar experience? Your suggestion is highly appreciated!

reset your prefrences. the curves dialog box is off screen. or hook back to the external monitor and drag the back back over to the main monitor. there’s procedures for dialog box missing and resetting the prefrences in the faq.
