When I resize a text layer to a smaller size, my shadow created by the blending options keeps the same structure (distance, spread and size). Is there an efficient way to make the shadow resize proportionally without resetting the values in the structure dialog box? I’m using Photoshop 7.

right click on your effects layer and go to "scale effects", you can then change your effects by percentages.

Thanks. That will help.
Then I take it there’s no way of automatically assigning a corresponding effects scale to blending options when scaling a layer?
Thanks for your help.
