Hi,

I created a droplet in PS CS to resize images and export them at 75% jpeg quality. Unfortunately, it does not work, if the specified output folder does not exist. Is there a way to force the creation of a folder?
i.e. Save all pictures in %Desktop%My75s\

Thanks,
Nico

The way I’ve used droplets is put the droplet in the folder you want the final images in, then drag your originals onto the droplet icon, then move the droplet out. Actions may be more useful for what you want.

If you are doing something that would benefit from
a droplet then it seems like the step of making a
folder beforehand would not be a time restraint
because of the time that the droplet would save.

If there is a circumstance where this is not true…
I think you are a perfectionist like me… please post.
It would be nice to have some more file management
features in droplets.

I use the same output folder for all droplet actions. I move the images to another folder after they are created.

Droplets are really great. I’m back on
PS 7. Have the newer versions done
anything interesting with Ds?
