I am using PS 6, and am looking for an effect that would do the following.

I take photos of smiles, and some are straight on, ie the teeth look like they are in a flat plane left to right, but sometimes I am above the plane of the teeth with my camera which changes the smile to look more curved, in otherwords the middle is down in the photo farther than what the sides appear.

Is there a filter or effect somewhere that I could take a portion of a photo and curve it down in the middle and up on the sides , similar to the curved text functions "word art" of Microsoft Word.

I can’t find anything suitable in the transform or distor menus of PS.

Thanks,
CC

???? use a less distorted lens in the first place? shoot a more flattering angle?
I would also say Liquefy but it’s not in the old versions.

I’m using a 100 mm macro/portrait lens and the angle I am aiming for is not one that is meant to be flattering, but is for diagnostic imaging, treatment planning and computerized smile enhancement simulations.

Thanks!!!
Apparently liquify is what will do the job the best, it opened up a whole new arena I hadn’t explored yet.
THANKS AGAIN for the suggestion

How about a displacement map applied to just the mouth area?
