I wonder if you can help me.

I want to create a strip of film (the sort of thing you put into a projector) then I want to put individual graphics or text into each frame of the film.
I am not sure what size I want the strip of film so I want to be able to draw it any size I require.

Is this possible?
How can I create a strip of film that will look realistic and allow me to put different things into each frame of the strip?

I hope you can help me.

I appreciate any help or information given.

Thanks!

I created the film strip in Illustrator and imported it into Photoshop, where I placed the individual cartoons in the frames.
