I need to draw a plain black line with the line tool however my line is showing up as a gradient with red, blue, green and yellow colors.

How do I disable gradients on the line tool?

Thanks!

Huh? The line tool has no gradients.

Are you talking about how the line tool previews over a current image?

Or are you drawing a shape layer with a style selected, and the style contains a gradient?
