installing english language on german win xp machine

I have bought a 6.o version, multi language. When I install Photoshop on a pc with a Dutch Win XP version, the instructions come in English.

When I want to install it on the laptop it is meant for, German XP and keyboard, the instructions come in German, and even after choosing American English or International English, the programme installs itself in the German language version. Pretty inconvenient since German is not my first language and most of my Photoshop books are in English.
Can someone explain what I am doing wrong? Thank you.

There are no multi language versions. You can only choose a language for reading the license agreement…

Thanks for the information, but I am still confused. I got 2 cd-roms, one saying:English, Deutsch, Espano, and the other:Francais, Italiano. I guess that is a bit much just for the license agreement.
What do you think?

I bought it on E-bay, in the description it said it was with an original serial number and unregistered and new.
So I hope you are not correct in your assumption, although it was my first time on Ebay, and if you are correct also my last time. I faxed the serial number to Adobe to register, so they might respond if this is not legal.

To all of those who answered: thank you.

The cd-roms are legal and contain 5 languages, to install a language different from the operating system, one has to use a custom installation. Now the programme is running, due to the vendor who has responded quickly.

I’d like the official word on this, from an Adobe Employee such as Stephanie Scheaffer.

I’ve never heard of multi-language install disks.
