Making animated gif from quicktime video

It only produces one frame not the others for producing the animated gif. Does anyone know how this works properly?

Hmm you should get an option when opening in ImageReady on framerate.. And then it should chop the quicktime file up into that number of frames.

I’ve done this by outputting as frames from QuickTimePro, collecting those frames in a new folder..

Then, you import the contennts of that folder as frames into ImageReady.

At the adobe demonstration I saw, he opened quicktime movies directly in ImageReady (I remember, because I was impressed).

Yup. Works like a charm. You have choices to open the entire movie, a selected range, or every 2nd (this number is changeable) frame.
