Whenever I startup Photoshop I get an error message that says This application has failed to start because _ISource22.dll was not found. I know it’s got something to do with a plug in but I can’t narrow it down to which one. Reinstalling Photoshop hasn’t helped. Plus I’ve reinstalled.
Can I get this dll and just drop it in somewhere?

That’s a plugin error as far as I can tell. Try reinstalling the plug in.

google indicates it’s probably related to something called Atalasoft – ImgX6.

also possibly related to some sw from <http://www.smalleranimals.com/>

are you using thumbnailer or clickpic?

I’ve tried to do both of the above and neither works also I’ve noticed since I posted this that whenever I click on a file to open it. Photoshop will open like it used to but the file doesn’t show up. but if I go to the file through Photoshop it will open.

Cadillac,

That’s due to a bad registry entry – See the FAQ’s at the top of this forum’s Topic List. "JPG’s don’t open when double-clicked"

I have already chosen my Photo Shop executable to be Photo Shop. It only works for the one time that I do it even though always open with this program is selected. Are both of these problems connected. Reinstalling Photoshop two times now still hasn’t fixed the problem.

Okay I’ve reinstalled Photoshop 5.5 and 7.0 but images still don’t open when clicked on. The _ISource22.dll may have been related to trying to use plugins from 5.5 Anyways that’s fixed. But still having opening problem. Am checking out FAQ’s.
